长江中下游地区是我国农业生产条件最为优越的地区之一,是我国重要农产品主产地,是我国粮食市场稳定的重要支柱.同时,长江中下游地区面临严重的洪涝灾害、早稻积压与饲料粮短缺、人地矛盾日益激化、农民收入增长缓慢等一系列问题.这些问题迫切需要实施有效的农业科技发展战略.

The middle and downstream region of Changjiang river is dominant in agricultural production condition, which is the base production area of important agricultural products and the important assistant stabilizer of food market in China. In the meanwhile, it face to a series of serious problems such as water flood calamities, early rice overstock, feed grain deficiency, contradiction between human and land and increase slowdown of peasant input. To deal with these questions, we should adopt efficient strategies of agricultural science and technology development
