The paper analyzed the problems existing in the evaporation process of a alumina plant. By taking several effective measures, for example, reducing the pressure of both the fifth and sixth evaporate steam chamber, changing the methods of salt drainage, improving the temperature of original liquid and the secondary utilization of new steam condensate, innovating the method of evaporator feeding, developing evaporator cleaning system and so on. Finally we achieve the goal of increasing production and reducing power consumption.
