教书育人与美国文学教学

摘要 "教书育人"话题由热转冷导致部分教师的误解,最易将其作并列式即割裂式理解,从而在教学中不能有机地将教书与育人结合起来。其实,对于专职教师而言,"教书育人"应作偏正式理解,即"教书"从属于"育人"。从美国文学教学来看,要实现"教书育人",不仅要提高学生的英语水平、文化常识和审美情趣等,更重要的是要实现文学的两大基本功能:娱乐与教化,提高学生的思想素质和认识能力,帮助学生树立正确的世界观和人生观,让学生在享受课堂的同时感悟到人生的真谛。 The topic of "cultivation in teaching" has become calm which makes some teachers misunderstand the expression and the easiest misreading is that the expression is understood by the way of juxtaposing or separating. Consequently, in teaching actions, the teaching and cultivation can not be effectively combined together. In fact, the "cultivation in teaching" should be understood by the way of modification, that is, the teaching conduct is subordinate to the cultivation, which the efficiency and effect of cultivation could be attained in the classroom teaching. The "cultivation in teaching" in American literature lecture means that not only does the lecture improve the students'English level, common sense of culture and aesthetic taste but also it shoulders the two goals, namely, entertainment and edification, which refers to helping students to improve virtue quality and cognitive ability, to establish the right world outlook and life outlook and to sense the life truth when students enjoys the classroom lecture.
