古代白话小说“重复”叙述技巧谫论

On the Repetition Skills of Classical Vernacular Novels

"重复"是小说作品中常用的叙述手法之一,他与微观修辞中的"反复"辞格具有相似性,但亦有所区别.通过对小说重复现象的破译,可加深对小说结构的认识,为白话小说文体研究打开新的突破口.文中以重复叙述技巧为切入点,采用细读分析的方法,将西方现代小说理论与明清小说评点中的相关概念结合,对古代白话小说进行观照,归纳出意象、场景、情节三种重复叙述模式,并对各种重复现象对应的文本效果进行了具体解析.

Repetition is one of the common narrative technique in novels, it has both similarities to and differences from the torical repecition. Deciphering nepetition in novels is helpful to deep undeerstanding of the novel＇s structure and to finding a new bradkthrough for the study of vernacular novels. By close reading vernacular novels and combining the modern western literary theory with related concepts in the criticism of the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the paper sumparizes three major repetition modes ; repetitions of image, scene and plot, and then makes detailed analyses of their text effect in the corresponding novels.
