随着经济全球化,国际贸易活动的频繁,外贸函电作为商务沟通的重要途径之一,越来越受到相关行业工作人员的重视。对外贸函电进行准确的英汉互译是学习者的一个难点。形合意合,作为两种语言最重要的一个区别,对于外贸函电的翻译实践同样具有较强的指导意义。了解二者的差异,有助于外贸业务工作者顺利运用中英文传递信息,达成合作意向。
With the increasing frequency of international trade and rapid globalization, people in the line of foreign business are attaching more and more importance to business correspondence, which is one of the most important tools in business communication. And it is rather difficult to the learners when they need to inter-translate English and Chi- nese correctly. Hypotaxis and Parataxis, as a significant dif- ference between the two languages, is rather instructive for the practice of translation. Therefore, to understand hypotaxis and parataxis would help people engaged in foreign trade to convey information successfully and realize cooperation.
