摘要 文章主要介绍了上海兴华教育培训中心的改扩建项目,探讨了建筑师在改扩建过程中采取的不同策略。文章以设计思路为线索,描述了该项目的操作过程。建筑师将形与势的关系运用到设计过程中,并借此总结了源自中文修辞手法的"对偶"设计思想。 This paper offers a brief introduction to the renovation and expansion project of Shanghai Xinghua Education and Training Centre and discusses the various strategies the architect adopted throughout the project. A description of the operational process has also been offered with references to the unfolding of the design approach. The architect has carefully deployed the relation between 'form' and 'proclivity' in the design process, thereby symmetric duaJity' in the ncorporating the trope of Chinese language.
