"势"是中国语境之中非常特殊的概念,然而它却是中国人看世界与想问题的基本方式。从政治到伦理、从时间到空间都与"势"有着关联。将"势"这个概念引入社会工作是为了厚实宏观议题的洞察力,以促进宏观层面的改变,因为"势"暗示了"顺势而为"的可能性,这要求社会工作去争取"时势权力"。
'shi' is a particular concept in Chinese context, and entails a Chinese perspective on world views and mentality. 'shi' is relevant with politics, ethics, time and space. Bring 'shi' into social work could fuel it's imaginations in macro social issues, which could facilitate macro changes. It requires social work to develop its situational power.
