Reflections on Anti-corruption Based on Human Experience and Wisdom

在中国社会全面转型的历史时期,我们必须解决腐败现象易发高发多发的现实问题。在坚定反腐败的决心、信心和不断加大力度之外,还需审视和反思我们过往的实践。尤其重要的是,我们需要踏踏实实地在人类生存的经验法则中总结规律,在人民群众的生活智慧中吸取营养,在社会共同体普遍认知的游戏规则中获得灵感,省思制度规则形同虚设的现实、正视教育作用的有限性、昭示官员财产申报公示制度的价值等,从而回归常识,认同常情,尊重常理,实现反腐倡廉建设的理论自信和实践自觉。

During the historical phase of China＇s social transition, we must address problems brought by corruptions in China. Besides strengthening our decision, confidence and efforts in fighting corruption, we also need review and reflect on our past practice. What is more important is that we need to summarize laws from experience of human beings, absorb nutrition from the living wisdom of the mass, obtain inspiration from rules acknowledged by all social groups, reflect on the reality that our system and rules are good for nothing, admit the limited effect of educating our cadres, and publicize the common values of officials＇ property reporting and declaration system so as to regain, acknowledge and respect common sense and realize the theoretical confidence and practical oonsciousness of anti-corruption.
