Spatial Politics and Cognitive Mapping: On Jameson's Late Marxist Cultural Politics

空间概念是詹姆逊晚期马克思主义文化政治学的核心概念之一。在詹姆逊看来,重新思考空间,并结合空间在资本全球化进程中日益凸显出来的重要性而促成政治化的空间意识和激进的空间实践,不仅是晚期资本主义背景下生成激进的文化政治的条件之一,也是迈向社会主义政治的要务之一。正是在空间研究的基础上,詹姆逊提出了著名的认知图绘的文化策略。

The space concept is one of the core concepts of Jameson's late Marxist cultural politics. In Jameson's view,to reflect space and to combine with the importance of space in capital globalization bring forth the politicalized space consciousness and radical spatial practice. It is not only one of the conditions to cause the radical politics of culture in late capitalism,but also one of the important steps towards the socialist politics. It is on the basis of the study of space that Jameson put forward the famous cultural strategy of cognitive mapping.
