分析了"文化与经济"在现代社会科学研究中兴起的原因和学术意义,择要介绍了该领域中具有代表意义的六个理论流派。在此基础上,重点探讨本期专栏收录的六篇论文的理论设计,并逐一说明和强调案例研究的实质性贡献。研究表明,文化和经济是具体的、动态的,需要将两者置于各种实质性的社会舞台去讨论它们如何连接、如何互动以及引发的后果等等,这样可以为进一步的比较研究和理论探讨奠定坚实的基础。

This paper firstly analyzes the main reasons for the rise of ＂cul-ture and economy＂ in modern social science research and its academic signifi-cance. It also introduces briefly the six representative schools of theory in this field, on the basis of which it maps out the general therotical design of the six themed papers especially collected in this issue and highlights the substantive contribution of the case studies respectively. These studies show that both cul- ture and economy are concrete and dynamic in nature. It is necessary to situate them into various substantive social arenas and explore how they are interconnec- ted, how they interact and possible consequences of their interaction. This kind of emperical research will provide a solid foundation for further comparative anal-ysis and theoretical debates.
