菲律宾德拉萨大学图书馆的管理模式及思考

The Library of De La Salle University: Management Model and Reflections

文章通过菲律宾德拉萨大学图书馆的访问和学习,对菲律宾高等教育体制和教育水平进行了研究。菲律宾的大学主要由美国人创办,也由此沿用了美国的教育体制。在与菲律宾大学图书馆员的交流学习中,学习和研究了菲律宾高校图书馆在人员结构、管理水平、馆藏发展、自动化水平、学术水平等方面与我国高校图书馆的相似和不同之处。对我国高校图书馆发展与建设有一定的参考价值。

Through a visit and study of the Library of De La Salle University of the Philippines, this paper studies the educational system and level of the Philippines, finding that it is an in- heritance of American educational system and that its university libraries are both similar to and different from those in China in terms of personnel structure, management level; collection development, automation and academic research. It is hoped that the study can be useful for China＇ s university library development and construction.
