Positive Psychology and the Ideological Working for Retired Veteran Cadre

文章认为全国近两千万离退休干部的精神状态是健康、积极向上的.但不良心态在部分干部中存在,突出表现是消极悲观思想比较严重.解决办法除了从物质上保证离退休干部共享改革发展的成果外,还必须用积极心理学进行疏导、教育,树立乐观主义心态；帮助离退休干部坚定信念,自信自爱,肯定自己几十年来对国家社会的贡献；积极发展自己的爱好,努力去做自己喜欢的事；弃财富、功名如浮云,而把身体健康、心理健康作为永恒的追求.

In the thesis＇ view, there are nearly 20 million retired veteran cadres （or so called senior cadres） throughout the country： most of them are active and positive in their state of mind. However the bad state of mind is still existed in a few of them, especially those remain negative and pessimistic about something. To solve it, the positive psychology can be applied to persuade, guide them to acquire an optimism besides ensuring that they can share the fruit yielded from reforming and de- veloping. Help them to strengthen conviction, live in self-confidence and self-respect, affirm their own contribution made in the past decades, actively enjoy their hobby, do their like to do, renounce their wealth and fame. Only the sound in body and mind is their eternal pursuit.
