REFLECTIONS ON ENHANCING AND IMPROVING THE POLITICAL AND IDEOLOGICAL WORK IN INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING

高校的思想政治工作有着重要的地位和作用，它要确保稳定，确保教学、科研的顺利进行，确保人才培养目标的实现。为此，高校思想政治工作应当加强领导、理顺关系、建好队伍，并在处理继承与创新、情与理、褒与贬、精神与物质、校内和校外等关系方面探索出新的形式和方法。

The political and ideological work in institutions of higher learning is of great importance. The current task of such work includes the following aspects: stability,research, administration and the training of qualified personnel. What is needed now is strengthening of leadership,smoothening of relations, building a contingent of administrators and exploring new forms and ways in handling the relationship between inheritance and creation, feeling and reason, praise and criticism, spirit and material and on-campus and off-campus.
