Long-Term Follow-up Results of Treating Chyluria with formalin

应用福尔马林肾盂灌注治疗乳糜尿 41例 ,随访 4～ 14年病例共 2 7例 ,其中 2 5例治愈 (92 6 % ) ,2例于治疗 4～ 5年后复发 (7 4% )。采用此法治疗肾性乳糜尿 ,具有操作简单 ,副作用少 ,疗效好等优点。

Of 41 cases of chyluria which were treated with formalin perfused into the renal pelvis, 27 were followed up for 4 to 14 years. 25 cases (92.6%) were found to have been cured and 2(7.4%) have a relapse in 4 and 5 years, respectively after the treatment. The authors suggest that formalin when perfused to treat renal chyluria is effective and easy to use, with few, if any, side-effects.
