On Mao Zedong's Thoughts on the Path to Socialist Economic Construction ——An Observation Centered Around Discussions on Reading a Textbook on Political Economics

毛泽东《读苏联〈政治经济学教科书〉的谈话》,是他探索中国社会主义建设道路的重要成果,集中体现了他对如何借鉴苏联社会主义建设经验的思考,对新中国成立以来社会主义革命与建设实践经验的总结。重温毛泽东在这篇文献中关于社会主义经济建设的独创性理论成果,特别是社会主义可以分为两个发展阶段、社会主义建设要波浪式发展、矛盾是社会主义社会的发展动力、社会主义经济建设的战略与布局、改革和完善社会主义经济管理体制、社会主义建设要坚持走自己的路等卓越见解,不仅有助于深入认识和理解毛泽东对社会主义经济建设道路的探索,及其提倡的读书活动与思考方法,而且对今天的中国特色社会主义建设也具有十分重要的指导意义。

Mao Zedong's Discussions on Reading a Textbook on Political Economics is an important achievement of his efforts in exploring China's path to socialist construction which represents his thoughts on how to learn from the Soviet Union for their experiences in socialist construction as well as a summary on experiences of socialist revolution and construction practices since the founding of P.R.C.Reviewing Mao's creative theories on socialist economic construction,especially his outstanding theories on the division of socialist development into two stages,the wavy development of socialist construction,contradiction being the momentum of socialist society,strategy and plan of socialist economic construction,reform and improvement of socialist economic management system,following our own path in building socialism,contribute not only to the deeper understanding of Mao's explorations of the path to socialist construction and the reading activities and way of thinking he advocated,but also provide important guidance for today's socialist construction with Chinese characteristics.
