This paper discusses the necessity of the socialization of the information services of the libraries of sports colleges and universities, analyzes the superiorities of the libraries of sports colleges and universities in the socialization of the information services, and connecting with the practice of the socialization of the information services of the library of Shenyang Sport University, points out that the libraries of sports colleges and universities should play their advantages in information resource and services, serve the society, and thus achieve greater social value.
