Focusing on Kierkegaard's pseudonymous work Fear and Trembling,this paper tries to understand the Kierkegaardian view of faith as well as the significance of faith in the post-Enlightenment age.True belief roots in temporality.It is an absolute,passionate relation between ' the individual' and ' the absolute',dialectically turning to be the 'hidden inwardness'.The paper argues that only reason can lead faith to be on the right way.
