摘要
针对最小误比特率准则的多天线波束成型目标函数的多维度、非线性优化难题,提出了粒子群优化算法辅助的最小误比特率波束成型算法,有效地获得了最优的权重向量,解决了最小误比特率优化问题。该方案能够成功地避免陷入局部最优解,而快速收敛于全局最优解。仿真结果表明,直接以最小化系统的误比特率为目标的基于粒子群优化算法的最小误比特率波束成型算法,明显优于传统的最小均方误差波束成型技术。
This contribution considers Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to solve the multi-dimensional and nonlin- ear optimization problem for the Minimum Bit Error Rate (MBER) beamforming receiver. The PSO aided MBER beamforming receiv- er can obtain the optimum beamformer's weight vector and thus find the solution of the resulting optimization problem that mini- mizes the MBER criterion. The method can work out the MBER optimization by its virtue of quick convergence to reasonably good solution and high efficiency against local minima. Results of the simulation indicated the PSO algorithm aided MBER detector is ca- pable of outperforming the conventional Minimum Mean Squared Error (MMSE) detector by minimizing the Bit Error Rate (BER) di- rectly.
