摘要
利用CAN总线对仅有RS232接口的数控机床构建的DNC系统,当集成的CNC系统种类较多时,将使DNC主机管理软件变得复杂,通用性降低;另外DNC主机向不同数控机床传送NC程序中需要切换,以小数据包传送NC程序会降低传输效率,降低DNC系统的实时性。本文提出的新型CAN-RS232协议转换器可嵌入不同通信协议、具有大存储空间、并能对存储空间实现智能管理。利用该协议转换器,可将DNC主机部分管理功能下移,增大一次传输的数据量,提高DNC系统的实时性,增加DNC系统集成规模。实验证明该协议转换器是可行的、有效的。
To construct the DNC system for numerical control systems that have only RS232 communication interface can be implemented by using CAN bus. The integrated numerical control systems will make the DNC host management soft- ware be complicated and lows universal. In addition, since the DNC host need to be transformed when send NC programs to different numerical control systems, the transmission efficiency and the real-time of the DNC system would be reduced if the NC programs were in the form of small packet. To solve these problems, a new CAN-RS232 protocol converter em- bedded by different communication protodols is designed. The converter also has a large storage space and smart manage- ment ability, so it can not only decrease the management function of the mainframe DNC and improve the real time of the DNC system, but also increase the number of numerical control systems managed by the DNC host. The experiment re- sults show that this intelligent protocol converter is feasible and effective.
