Development of the West Regions and Quality Education

西部开发是经济、社会、生态、文化全面协调发展的过程 ,特别对人的社会责任感、科学素养、创新意识和能力、学习和继续发展能力、文化修养等素质提出了更高要求。为此素质教育要树立现代素质教育观 ,齐抓共管 ,分类实施 ,长远规划 。

Development of the West Regions is a process of overall coordinated growth of economy,society,ecology and culture.In particular,it raises higher require ments for the sense of social responsibities,scientific qualities,creativity,the ability of study and continued development and cultural accomplishment. Therefore,the modern conception of quality education should be established.All qualities should be cultivated. Related educations should be carried out respectively with a long run plan,ensuring the whole education.
