包头市作为一座工矿型城市,历经半个世纪的发展,资源面临枯竭,城市急需转型。在城市总体规划确定转型方向的基础上,钢铁大街作为包头市的标志性街道,积极响应上位规划,立足于重塑城市风貌,创造宜业、宜居的现代都市,分别从宏观、中观及微观对城市建筑体量与形态、地面铺设、室外照明、户外广告及其他家具等方面做出设计引导,合理安排阿尔丁文化庆典广场、中央商务区等城市核心节点的城市功能,促进城市转型。

As a mining industry based city, Baotou＇s resource is shrinking and the city needs transition. According to the master plan guidance, steel boulevard urban design aims to recreate city image and build a city of life and vitality. The design content includes building scale, morphology, paving, lighting, advertisement, and city furniture. Important city nodes like Aerdin square and central business district are rearranged functions for urban transition.
