Chinese clothing culture generalizes the essence of Oriental traditional culture. Today, with the high development of modem material culture, to inherit and spread the clothing culture and to get people known about Chinese dosing culture is of great necessity. This paper mainly discusses the origin, inheritage and development of the clothing culture, which reflects to us the social connotations of the society, folk customs, and the clothing that people wear. In the meanwhile, it expresses to us the different understanding and pursuit of fashion that people have with different aesthetic standards in different times.
