This paper introduces the characteristics of digital measurable images technology, discusses the features and meth- ods of the geographical space technology based on digital measurable images technology in traffic information management. The results show that the visualization traffic geographical information system that based on digital images of roads can manage transportation asset, maintain the right of way and use other extension functions effectively.
