摘要
分析对比中国《翻译服务规范》(GB/T 19363.1-2008)与美国《翻译质量保证标准指南》(ASTM F2575-06)两种翻译服务标准的差异。后者重视翻译服务方与客户间的合作,把翻译质量看作译作满足供需双方所达成的规范的程度。这对完善我国翻译服务标准具有借鉴意义,对更新人们的翻译观念、翻译标准的认识具有启示作用。
The paper makes a comparison between China' s Specification for Translation Service -part 1 : Translation (GB/ T 19363.1 - 2008 ) and the United States' Standard Guide for Quality Assurance in Translation ( ASTM F 2575 - 06), and analyzes the similarities and differences of these two requirements. ASTM standard guide stresses cooperation between translation service providers and clients, views translation quality as the degree to which the characteristics of a translation fulfill the requirements of the agreed-upon specifications. The notion of translation behind ASTM standard guide can offer some lessons for the improvement of China translation service requirement, and renew our views toward translation and trans- lation standard.
