摘要
本文研究了电子束辐照对开孔型聚乙烯泡沫塑料的影响。测定了在氮气氛中和在空气中辐照试样的凝胶含量与吸收剂量的关系以及在室温下和高温下试样的抗张强度、断裂伸长率与吸收剂量的关系。测量了辐照试样在高温下的尺寸收缩率。结果表明,在氮气氛中辐照直至300kGy试样的抗张强度无显著变化,凝胶含量随剂量的增加而增加;而在空气中辐照时试样的抗张强度随剂量的增加而降低,当辐照至200kGy后凝胶含量严重降低。在氮气氛中辐照试样在高温下的尺寸变化率显著降低了。本文也给出了电子束辐照对开孔型EVA泡沫塑料影响的相应数据,得到了与聚乙烯泡沫塑料相类似的结果。
The effects of electron beam irradiation on polyethylene foam ofopen cell type have been studied. Experiments for determining of gel fraction andphysical-mechanical properties of irradiated polyethylene foam of open cell type as afunctoin of dose, respectively, were carried out. The dimensional stability of irradiatedspecimens at elevated temperatures also was measured. It was found that tensile strengthdid not change and gel fraction increased when the specimen was irradiated in nitrogenatmosphere with increasing dose up to 300 kGy. The result shows that dimensionalstability of polyethylene foam of open cell type after being kept in an oven at 70℃and 110℃ for 22 h is improved by irradiation in nitrogen atmosphere. The similarresults of irradiated EVA foam of open cell type to irradiated PE foam of open celltype were obtained.
