闽籍华侨在东南亚从事中药业的人员以福建永定籍和闽南籍的客家人居多 ,他们种植中药材、开办制药厂、组织药业公司、医药业公会等 ,为发展传统医药、保障人民健康作出了重要贡献。中国尤其是福建与东南亚在医药方面的交流与合作 。

Hakka from Yongding and southern part of Fujian, engaged in Chinese traditional medicine enterprise in south-east Asia,make up the majority of overseas from Fujian.They played an important part in the development of traditional Chinese medicine and ensurance of people's health, in planting Chinese herbs, opening pharmaceutical factory,organizing pharmaceutical company and associations of medicine etc.They made great contributions to the communication and cooperation of medicine between PR China and other countries,especially Fujian and south-east Asia.
