MHIPS和GCS两种评分评估重型颅脑损伤预后的比较

A comparison of MHIPS and GCS in evaluating the prognosis of patients with severe traumatic brain injury

目的比较MHIPS及格拉斯哥昏迷评分(GCS)两种评分系统评估重型颅脑损伤患者预后的价值。方法对80例入院2d内的颅脑损伤患者分别进行MHIPS及GCS,分析其与患者预后的相关性。结果两种临床分级标准与预后均有较好的相关性。MHIPS预测预后的准确性优于GCS(P<0.05)。结论 MHIPS预测重型颅脑损伤预后较GCS更有意义。

Objective To compare the values of Madras head injury prognostic scale（MHIPS） and Glasgow coma scale （CCS） in predicting the prognosis of patients with severe brain injury. Methods The evaluations of 80 patients with severe brain injury admitted to hospital within 2 days were performed by MHIPS and GCS at same time. The association of MHIPS and GCS scores with the prognosis of patients with severe brain injury was evaluated. Results The clinical grading criteria of two scoring methods were closely correlated fo the prognosis, while the accuracy of MHIPS was superior to that of GCS in predicting the prognosis（P〈0. 05）. Conclusion The accuracy of MHIPS in predicting the prognosis of severe brain injury is better than that of GCS.
