Two Dissimilitudes of the Theme Construction on “Sin”——Interpretation of the Novel The Outsiders by Pai Hsien-yung

白先勇的长篇小说《孽子》在主题建构上的两歧性特征:1.父法裁判之"孽",小说的显在主题正是通过"孽子"生存的人性化呈现对抗父法裁判;2.母血承传之"孽",小说通过对母血承传不可抗拒性的叙述建构了《孽子》的潜在主题。最后分析了作为"孽子"最主要代言人的"王夔龙"形象。

The paper primarily focuses on the characteristics of the two dissimilitudes of the theme construction in the novel The Outsiders by Pai Hsien - yung： I. the ＂sin＂ of father law referee, it is through the humanity of survival in The Outs/tiers that the obvious theme of the novel presents the rebellion for father law referee; 2. the ＂sin＂ of maternal blood heritage , the novel constructs the potential theme of the novel through the narration of the irresistibility of maternal blood heritage. It then analyzes the image of ＂Wang Kuilong＂ as the primary spokesman for The Outsiders.
