2004年,乌鲁木齐铁路局(以下简称乌铁局)启动了职工基本医疗保险制度,同步建立企业补充医疗保险管理办法,对职工基本医保自付部分医疗费用进行补助,有效增强了企业职工抵御疾病风险的能力和水平,全路局职工没有因病返贫、致贫的。
In 2004, the Urumqi Railway Bureau initiated the basic medical insurance policy for workers and established the Enterprise supplementary medical insurance policy simultaneously as their medical expenses subsidies. As the result of these approaches, it has effectively enhanced the capacity and level of enterprise workers to resist the risk of disease burden. There were no railroaders suffering from poverty due to their illness.
