阐述了中国海洋大学图书馆科技查新工作现状,从查新报告数量、查新委托单位类型及区域分布、查新目的、查新范围等方面,对2010-2012年中国海洋大学图书馆科技查新项目进行统计分析,了解科技查新在科研立项、成果鉴定、成果获奖、专利申请中的作用,并结合实际工作中遇到的问题,探讨提高查新服务能力和拓展查新业务的对策。

The paper reveals the status quo of sci-tech novelty retrieval work of Ocean University of China Library, does a statistical analysis on sci-tech novelty retrieval items completed by the Library in 2010-2012 from the aspects of quantity of novelty retrieval reports, clients and their region distribution, novelty retrieval purposes and scopes, to understand the roles and effects of sci-tech novel- ty retrieval in approving scientific research project determination, achievements appraisal and prize-winning, patent application. And the paper aims at the problems encountered in the actual work to explore strategies to improve the ability and to expand the business of sci-tech novelty retrieval service.
