Wang Renyu was born in Lixian and lived in the last years of Tang Dynasty and the earlier years of the Five Dynasties, whose representative sketchbook was Yu tang Xian hua, the sketches in anecdote of Kaiyuan period in Tang Dynasty, and the note- book of Wang Renyu＇s experiences. He is called ＂shi jiaozi＂ for more than 10,000 poems. The book Search for the Shijiaozi Yizhen （Treasures Recovered from the Poetry Cellar in the Late Tang Dynasty： and Wang Ren-yu＇s Literary Creation Research＂ had a high position and deserved much attention. The contribution of Notes and Commentary on Wang Renyu cannot be left unrecognized because it is the first book that research on Wang Reny. Meanwhile, the author has corrected some errors in this book. The author also conducts a research of Wang Renyu＇s works from macro view and micro historical geography, fills the gaps of research works, and therefore opens another world.
