高等职业教育的重要性随着经济结构的不断高级化而益显重要。自从英国工业革命以来,强国之兴衰莫不与职业教育水平的高低息息相关,英国工业革命之初,虽无今日之正规职业教育,但其严格的学徒制度已将职业教育的实际内容纳入其中。其后相继崛起的大国,无不以职业教育作为其实现强国之梦的基石,德国、法国、美国、日本等莫不如此,皆以不断升级的职业教育推动其制造业的升级转换。中国从经济总量上已是世界大国,但产品的总体水平仍居于中下游,商品的升级换代还有很大的潜力,而挖掘潜力的核心就是高等职业教育。

With the advancement of economic structure,the higher vocational education is becoming more and more important.Since the British industrial revolution,the rise and decline of powers is closely linked with the level of vocational education.At the beginning of the British industrial revolution,the strict apprentice system has included the actual content of vocational education,although there was no formal vocational education.After it,the growing up of the great powers regard the vocational education as the basement of realizing the dream of the powerful country,such as Germany、France、the United States、Japan and so on.They all promote the upgrading of manufacture,relying on the developing vocational education.All the countries that pay attention to vocational education,especially the higher vocational education,have led the mainstream of international trade as a world power in different periods.That has been verified by the world economic history.China has been regarded as one of world powers in economy,but the overall level of products is still in middle and lower reaches.So the potential of product upgrades is very large,and the core of mining potential is higher vocational education.As long as China＇s higher vocational education level can match with Germany,Japan and other countries,then realizing the dream of becoming powerful country is not far away.
