随着现代教育水平的提高,地方课程教育资源越来越被关注。厦门摩崖石刻不仅是厦门地区历史和文化的承载者,而且是重要的地方课程教育资源。由于厦门地理位置的特殊性,其摩崖石刻也带有浓厚的地方烙印,彰显爱国主义的内容是厦门摩崖石刻中最鲜明的特点。这些特点在对年青一代进行爱国主义教育时会发挥重要的作用。
