英汉新闻特写平行语篇编译的叙事对比——以2012伦敦奥运开幕式为例

Parallel Texts of English and Chinese News Features: A Narrative Comparison and Tips for Translation

本文以2012年伦敦奥运会开幕式评价为主题,选取了英国BBC网站上的一篇英文特写和中国人民网上的一篇汉语特写为平行语篇语料,对英汉新闻特写的叙事进行描述性对比后得出结论:新闻特写的翻译应围绕观点倾向,选译有利于阐述观点的内容,采用恰当的叙事方式,由此说明新闻特写的翻译是一种特殊的编译,是一种再叙事。

A comparison is conducted between a BBC website news feature and a Chinese feature from http：// www. people, com. cn/. After some comparative and descriptive investigations of their narrative rhetoric, the au- thor suggests that in the translating of news features, contents and ways of narration should succumb to and coor- dinate with points of view. Therefore the translation of news feature is defined as a special kind of adaptation or re-narration.
