摘要
本文采用历时研究的方法,将英语世界李渔小说研究划分为三个阶段:滥觞期、发展期和繁荣期。以此历史分期为据,梳理1816年至今英语世界李渔小说的研究状况,分析各阶段的特点,指出研究的意义与不足,以期从总体把握考察海外汉学界对李渔研究的基本走向,为中国文学海外传播的研究做出贡献。
This paper makes a diachronic study of Li Yu's fiction in English-speaking world since 1816.Based on the timeline,the survey is divided into three stages:the budding period,the developing period and prosperous period.A systematic review is made on the characteristics of each period.it also reflects upon the significance and weakness of the study as a whole with the aims to observe the basic trend of the study of Li Yu's fiction in Englishspeaking world as well as promote the spreading of Chinese literature into world literature.
