辑录字母词入“典”规范四题

On Four Aspects of Norms about Lettered-words Compiled into Chinese Dictionaries

字母不是汉字,由字母构成的字母词本质上也不是汉语言的代表性词汇。在辑录字母词入"典"的过程中,鉴于字母词的独特性,要在注音、排序、释义及其他方面加以规范,以期通过"典"的规范来确保字母词乃至汉语言在应用中的健康发展。

Letters are not Chinese characters, so lettered-words cannot be regarded as the representative members of Chinese vocabulary essentially. When lettered-words are compiled into Chinese dictionaries, owing to lettered-words＇ distinctiveness compilers should normalize their phonetic notation, sorting, explanation and the others, so as to ensure the sound development of lettered-words and even Chinese with the aid of norms adopted by Chinese dictionaries.
