摘要
目的年龄相关性白内障(age-related cataract,ARC)在我国老年人群中发病率极高,预防和延缓该病的发生成为人们关注的重点。文中测定ARC患者和健康对照人群血清中脂肪酸的含量,探讨脂肪酸在白内障发生发展中的变化规律,为预防和延缓白内障发生提供新思路。方法收集50例ARC患者(白内障组)和50例健康人群(对照组)的血清,采用气相色谱-质谱连用技术(GC/MS)检测血清中各种脂肪酸的含量。结果共检测了16种脂肪酸,白内障组血清中花生四烯酸(C20∶4n-6,Arachidonic acid,AA)、二十二碳六烯酸(C22∶6n-3,Docosahexenoic acid,DHA)、二十四烷酸(C24∶0,Lignoceric acid)、二十二碳五烯酸(C22∶5n-6,Docosapentaenoic acid,DPA)含量明显低于对照组(P<0.05);并且n-3和n-6多不饱和脂肪酸、总脂肪酸、不饱和脂肪酸、多不饱和脂肪酸和非必需脂肪酸的含量亦低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论白内障患者体内脂肪酸谱发生明显变化,血清脂肪酸含量普遍较健康对照组低。脂肪酸的缺乏可能与白内障的病情发展有关。
Objective The incidence rate of age-related cataract (ARC) is very high in the elderly population in China, and therefore the prevention and delay of cataract are becoming a focus of attention. The propose of this investigation was to deter- mine the contents of free fatty acids in ARC patients and healthy controls, explore the relation between fatty acids and cataract pro- gression, and provide some new ideas to prevent and delay the development of cataract. Methods We collected serum samples from 50 ARC patients ( the cataract group) and 50 healthy persons ( the control group) , and detected the levels of various fatty acids in the serum using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Results Totally, 16 fatty acids were detected. The levels of arachidonic acid ( C20 : 4n-6 ) , docosahexaenoic acid ( C22 : 6n-3 ) , tetracosanoie acid ( C24 : 0 ) , and docosapentaenoic acid (C22:5n-6) were significantly lower in the cataract than in the control group (P 〈0.05) , and so were the levels of n-3 and n-6 un- saturated fatty acids, total fatty acids, total unsaturated fatty acids, total polyunsaturated fatty acids and essential fatty acids ( P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion The fatty acid profiles change significantly in cataract patients, and the serum fatty acid levels are generally lower in cataract patients than in healthy persons. The lack of fatty acids may be associated with the progression of cataract.
