法国政府认为,中国政府的"有条件的建交"构成了法国承认中国的另一大障碍。在对外解释其不承认中华人民共和国政府和继续维持与台湾关系的原因时,法国政府一向不乏说辞。这种做法一直持续到1964年2月10日,即法国同中国发表建交联合公报两周之后。

The government of France holds that the Chinese government＇s establishing diplomacy with France conditionally constituted a barrier for France to recognize China.In the explanation of its not recognizing China,the French government never lacked excuses.It kept doing so until February,1964,two weeks after the France and China jointly announced their diplomatic relation establishment.
