In this paper, the structure and the history of phthalocyanine compounds are briefly introduced. The applications of the phthalocyanines in was reviewed and phthalocyanine compounds were described in the dye-sensitized solar cell application and many kinds ofphthalocyanine deys sensitizer in detail.
