Urban-Rural Integration,Status Boundaries,Peasants' Citizenship Rights Development: A Research on Transformation of Peasants' Status in the Process of Urban and Rural Integration in Chengdu

农民的公民权利发展是一个契合时代潮流的宏大论题。城乡统筹中农民向市民身份转变的实践呈现出城乡整合与农民权利发展的典型意义。按照增量改革原则,在国家行为的主导之下,通过分化与重构传统的农民身份、消解村民身份与公民身份间的紧张关系,农民与市民之间的身份边界和权利边界被破除,双方在与国家、市场及社会的联系中将面临相同的行动规则,由此推动着农民的公民权利发展。

The development of peasants＇ citizenship fights in China is a great topic that conforms to the trend of the times. During the urban and rural integration, we can explore that topic through the practice of transformation of peasants＇ status. Following the principle of incremental reform, the government has got rid of status boundaries be- tween peasants and urban residents by differentiating and reconstructing the traditional peasants＇ status, and dispel- ling tensions between the villagers＇ identity and citizenship. As a result, these reforms promote peasants＇ citizenship fights.
