图书馆人职业尊严探析

An analytical study of the occupational dignity of librarians

文章由"职业"、"尊严"二词入手,在此基础上,对图书馆人职业尊严的内涵和外延进行探究。指出图书馆人职业尊严的内涵体现为自尊、他尊和道尊三个方面;图书馆人职业尊严的外延则体现在图书馆工作的各个岗位上。在此基础上,提出维护图书馆人职业尊严的对策。最后,分析了对图书馆人职业尊严探讨的意义:即增进图书馆人与读者的融洽关系、图书馆人自我价值重构以及社会对图书馆人工作至上性的认识。

Starting from these two words： occupation and dignity, this article makes a probe into connotation and denotation of the occupation dignity of librarians. The connotation of the occupation dignity of librarians is embodied in respecting others, being respected by others and the respect of the librarian profession, while the denotation of the occupation dignity of librarians is embodied in all positions of the library. In order to maintain the occupational dignity, the librarians should establish harmonious relations with the readers and reconstruct self- value, whereas the society should recognize the work of librarians
