The document resources about famous scholars refer to the academic materials of the celebrities, by celebrities and about the studies, work, social activities and personal life of the celebrities . All these historical materials have such scientific and historical values that it is important for libraries to collect these historical materials, which can help libraries to carry out featured service, and upgrade self-images of the libraries. This article makes a brief introduction to the present situation of the collection of these historical materials in all sorts of libraries. Some suggestions for the construction, exploitation and utilization the document resources about famous scholars are also presented in the article.
