加强高校人文教育 提升学生人文修养——英语专业学生人文素质现状调查与分析

Strengthening Humanistic Education in Universities and Improving Humanistic Quality of College Students——Investigation and Analysis of the Current Situation of English Majors' Humanistic Quality

为了解高校英语专业学生人文素质的现状,对一所省属重点大学中的英语专业学生进行了一次人文素质状况的调查。调查发现了高校人文教育中的一些问题,学生的人文素养亟待提高。学生在掌握专业知识和技能的同时,不能忽视自身人文素养的培养;教师要把人文素质教育融入到专业教学中,实现专业人才培养目标。

In order to learn about the current situation of English Major＇s Humanistic Quality, an inves- tigation is made on English Majors＇humanistic quality in one university. Statistical analysis is made after the investigation. Some problems of humanistic quality education in universities are found, the humanistic quality of college students needs to be improved. As English Majors, they should pay more attention to their own humanistic quality while learning specialized knowledge and skills.Teachers should incorporate humanistic quality education into teaching and make the English teaching reach the cultivating objective for English Majors.
