Research on the Relationship between Electricity and Industrial Economic Growth of Foshan

以佛山市2001—2011年间工业用电与工业经济增长的数据为基础,建立两者之间的回归模型。二者之间的相关系数高达0.947 8,说明佛山目前仍是能源驱动型经济增长模式,能源的充足供应是经济高速增长的前提和保证。

Regression model is established between industrial electricity consumption and economic growth based on the data of Foshan from 2001 to 2011. The correlation coefficient between industrial electricity consumption and economic growth reaches as high as 0.9478, which reveals that Foshan still features energy-driven economy growth model at present. Therefore, sufficient energy supply is the premise and the guarantee for the high economic growth.
