The important significance of developing peanut production and its cultural technology in Xinjiang is analyzed in the tendency to develop peanut production, national economy status of peanut and exporting trade. The natural conditions, such as sun radiation, climate and soil etc., in Xinjiang are advantageous to expanding peanut production. There is a large market for people to consume peanuts in Xinjiang. To develop peanut production will accelerate agricultural economy increase in Xinjiang. Suggestions have been put up for the extension of peanut science and technology and industrial production of peanut in Xinjiang.
