Suggestion on sustainable utilization of tidal-flat area at river mouths of Taihu Lake Basin

太湖流域片河口海岸线绵长曲折,滩涂资源丰富。近年来随着经济快速发展,对土地资源需求增长,滩涂无序围垦开发、管理混乱的现象日趋严重。在对流域片滩涂开发治理与管理现状分析的基础上,围绕滩涂资源合理开发、保护和长效管理机制等问题,提出了应科学划分滩涂水利区划,加强河口海岸地区滩涂综合治理和管理,加强滩涂管理系统建设,建立统一管理的部门协调机制等建议。

The coastline of Taihu Lake Basin as well as relative area is long and meandering with rich tidal - flat resources. In recent years, due to quick economic development and increasing demand to land resources, the disordered reclamation and devel- opment in tidal - flat area become more and more serious. On the basis of analysis on the state quo of tidal - fiat development, harnessing and management, the suggestions on reasonable development, protection and long - effective management of tidal - flat resources etc. are put forward for the future sustainable utilization of tidal - flat resources at river mouths, including scientifi- cally dividing water conservancy zone of tidal - flat, strengthening the construction of tidal - flat management system, setting up unified coordination mechanism of management departments etc..
