Pollution Management of Dianchi Lake Requires the Returning of Arable Land to the Water

滇池治污忽视了天然湿地的净化湖水作用 ,存在重大缺陷 :没有从根本上查清污染原因 ,《滇池保护条例》中有一些观点须重新审视 ,滇池功能的认识和定位有重大缺陷。作者从云南建设绿色经济强省和昆明建设绿色生态旅游城市出发 ,以生态恢复和环境治理为切入点 ,提出退耕还湖等几点建议。

Current pollution management of Dianchi lake ignores the purifying effect that the natural wetland has on the lake water. A great defect in pollution management is that the factors causing the pollution in the lake have never been properly researched. The 'Regulations for the Protection of Dianchi Lake' contains some pointers on examining these factors, but our knowledge and research of Dianchi lake is still lacking. The author puts forward the proposal that arable land should be turned over to serve the lake, aiding ecological recuperation and environmental management.
