对我国高校图书馆馆藏图书总量及其增长情况的分析

利用教育部高校图书馆事实数据库中的数据,采用分层统计法,推算出:我国高校图书馆馆藏纸质图书约18.33亿册。中文纸质图书总藏量约17.12亿册,年度总增长量为9961万册,年度总购置费约25.46亿元;外文纸质图书总藏量约0.966亿册,年度总增长量约209.6万册,年度总购置费约2.59亿元。中文电子图书总量约21.66亿册,年度总购置量约6.17亿册,年度总购置费约2.002亿元;外文电子图书总量约1.46亿册,年度总购置量约4960万册,年度总购置费约1.035亿元。最后提出建议:图书均价及电子书数量应作为教育部评估高校图书馆的指标;高校图书馆应实现区域联盟内读者互认互通;建立能共享图书采购数据的信息系统,以便联盟馆间协调购书。

The total volumes of paper book in Chinese academic libraries is about 1. 833 billion. The average of holding of 985 project colleges and universities take the advantage. The total volumes of Chinese language paper books are 1. 712 billion volumes, and the annual purchase is 99.61 million volumes with a spending of 259 million Yuan. For the e-book collection, Chinese academic libraries subscribe almost 2. 166 billion Chinese language electronic books, and the annual purchase is 617 million books with a spending of almost 200.2 million Yuan. They are also collecting about 146 million foreign language electronic books, and the annual purchase books are 49.6 million volumes with almost 103.5 million Yuan. The average price per book and e-books should be one indicator in the assessment of academic library sponsored by Chinese Ministry of Education. The academic library should realize regional alliance with mutual recognition their readers and design an information system to share collection development data. Then, members in regional alliance could coordinate their book purchase.
