Development situation and countermeasures on Guangdong flower industry in the first half of 2013

2013年上半年,广东花卉产业在育种方面持续取得突破进展,市场价格受各种因素影响出现较为明显的波动。受政府出台"禁花令"、天气因素和市场等压力条件影响,广东花卉产业跨入转型升级阵痛期,存在本地花卉品质函待提升、高端花卉和平价花卉销售不均、受天气因素影响大、鲜花出口函待加力等问题。今后需采取的措施包括:加强花卉新品种的选育、关键技术研发,加速科技成果向生产力的转化;鼓励引导粤东西北有条件的地区发展专业化、规模化花卉生产基地;加快推进花卉传统优势产区及集散地的产品结构调整优化和升级。

In the first half of 2013, Guangdong flower industry got continued breakthrough in the flower breeding, the market price appeared obvious fluctuation influenced by various factors. Affected by ＂ban order＂ introduced by government, weather factor and market pressure, Guangdong flower industry stepped into the throes of transformation and upgrading. The existing problems of Guangdong flower industry were as follows： improving local flower quality; inequality between high-end flowers and parity flowers sale, affected by weather factor, strengthening export of flowers, etc. Future countermeasures included strengthening the research on the key technology and new varieties breeding, accelerating scientific and technological achievements into productive forces; to encourage and guide the development of specialized, large-scale flower production base in the northwest area of Guangdong; to accelerate product structure adjustment, optimization and upgrading in traditional advantage flower production area and distribution center.
