天琴成为广西龙州布傣族群的文化标识,经历了三个不同的历史发展阶段,即原始社会的神话传说阶段,近现代社会的法器阶段,当代的乐器、文化艺术品阶段。布傣族群是一个地处边境的弱势群体,其天琴文化能在不同历史时期发展壮大,传播到东南亚以及欧美等地,与其紧随时代步伐,依托自身独特的艺术价值迎合人类共同的审美旨趣,积极培植族群文化心理与族群精神息息相关。

Tianqin(a musical instrument in Guangxi)has experienced three different historical phases,namely the phase of the primitive myths and legends,the phase of musical instruments used in a Buddhist or Taoist mass in modern society,the phase of musical instruments and the cultural art in the contemporary society.Now tianqin has become the cultural identity of ethnic group the Phu Thays in Longzhou Guangxi.The Phu Thays is a disadvantaged group located in the border.Her tianqin culture grows stronger and stronger in different phases,and spread to Southeast Asia,Europe,America and other places.Following the pace of the ages and relying on its unique artistic value,it caters for human common aesthetic interests,actively cultivating cultural psychology of ethnic group.It is closely connected with the spirits of the Phu Thays.
